Martin Gil | ACCESS Intern

Martin is currently a student from Monterey Peninsula College, majoring in biology, and a recipient of the ACCESS summer research internship for underrepresented students to advance careers in research sciences. Through the ACCESS program, Martin is developing a focused research project with the Bio-Telemetry and Behavioral Ecology Lab. Martin has a passion for evolutionary timelines, ecology dynamics and climate change mitigation strategies. He enjoys independent research and is most interested in speculative evolution. Martin is passionate about finding solutions toward tackling anthropogenic climate change and preserving the natural balance of the biosphere.
